Here is a view of the drawer without its back panel. The metal chassis parts are from a disassembled Inwin A500 case. There, I drilled out the rivets, and mounted the important metal parts in my own custom wooden chassis. Here are some more picture of the chassis.


A front view; to the back we can see the fan box, with the hard drive in front of that. Although you can't see it here, the two ‘halves' of the case (one the motherboard tray, the other the power supply side) are electrically one grounded entity.


Here is a rear view. This view shows some of the top support system used to hold up the right side of the CD drives (as viewed from the front; the drives' left in this image). It also shows the slide-out motherboard tray, opposite the power supply.


Closing in on the fan box, a very nice feature of this case is that is a positive-pressure system. That is, the entire case cavity is fed filtered air, and maintained at a slightly higher pressure than the outside environment. This ensures continuous airflow throughout the case, and keeps the internals immaculately clean. Here is a shot of the changeable air filter.
